Photo Manipulation and Ethics

1. This article talk about photographers photoshopping their pictures. It talks mostly about how photo- manipulation can go wrong. It gives examples of several people who have gotten in trouble and even fired because they changed the original picture for their own needs.

2. I think photo-editing can go two ways. It either improves the photo or takes an insulting turn. When you re cropping people out of the picture, you risk them getting angry and taking action. If you are cropping the photo to fit somewhere and only cutting out background, I think that is completely reasonable. t depends on the circumstances in my opinion.

I think this picture is one of the most offensive of the examples. Changing someones body to fit what society thinks is "pretty" is unacceptable. And I don't even think this picture is photoshoped that well.

Although I don think that changing this picture is unethical, I don't think that it is the worst thing ever. I really like the picture as is.
