1. What are the advantages of shoot at a higher ISO at a sporting event like basketball or a night football game? You will not get blurry pictures if you set it right. And its much easier to take a photo that shows the action going on or making sure you can see an not having it too bright/dark.

You should use it whenever you can. If you have plenty of light, it is the best to use.
