Write two paragraphs about what you learned from reading this story.

I really enjoyed reading this. It was very nice to get Johnson's daughter, Luci, point of view. Although I was not alive when the assassination of President Kennedy occurred, it still has a big impact. I remember reading about President Kennedy and Johnson and this article helps me understand it even better.

And although I have learned about the two presidents, I never thought of how hard it must be on their children. Luci was just a normal girl who got her freedom ripped away from her. She didn't have a say in the decision for her father to become president, she was just expected to go with it. She lost 2 people she cared for and had to put on a brave face for the american people.
